Things I’ve learnt through the years

- If you think you’ve dealt with some assholes in your time, just be grateful for the ones you were spared.

- Some people believe they have nothing to give. So they give nothing. And take all they can get, always feeling they’re lacking something. Stay away from those!

- People lie to themselves and to god everyday, so it’s only normal they’ll lie to you too.

- If someone doesn’t love you, it’s their problem, not yours.

- Nevermind what others say (be it good or bad).

- Always tell the truth. It might hurt for a moment, but you’ll save yourself lots of time and trouble.

- Stay away from those who solve their problems by getting drunk/stoned etc. They’d rather take a shot of alcohol than a shot at anything really valuable.

- Those who hurt you didn’t know any better. Bless them and move on!

- Keep your distance with people with big emotional ups and downs (unless you want to join them).

- It doesn’t matter who’s wrong and who’s right. It’s how you feel that counts. Keep your peace and give up the need to persuade anyone into anything.

- Forgive yourself and everyone else every day. It’s one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

- Be grateful for everything that happened or didn’t happen. If it happened it was meant to, if it didn’t it wasn’t.

- When it’s time to end a situation/relationship, make sure you come out with a peaceful heart and a smile on your face.

- When it comes to knowing a person’s character words are worthless, it’s their actions that count.
